Johann Parler : ウィキペディア英語版 | Johann Parler
Johann Parler the Younger ((チェコ語:Jan Parléř) (:ˈjan ˈparlɛːr̝̊); c. 1359, Prague – 1405/06), was a Bohemian architect of German origin. Johann Parler came from the Parler family, whose members were architects in Europe. He was a son of the famous Gothic architect Peter Parler, who built the Saint Vitus Cathedral and Charles Bridge in Prague. After his father Peter died, Johann worked eight years in Prague continuing the work on the Saint Vitus Cathedral. Then he moved to Kutná Hora (Kuttenburg), where he was the first architect of St. Barbara's Church in the first period of its construction. The late Gothic Cathedral is now listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
